Classical boxing was rudimentary yet powerful enough to stand the test of time. We’ve taken elements of this nostalgic era and with a fistful of structure have punched our way into the future.

We’ve assembled the basic boxing fundamentals that will be your foundation into a liquid state of information you will absorb starting from the floor to your forehead. YOU will be, “a boxer in training,” learning and Experiencing what it takes to box. Anyone and everyone can hit the heavy bag but you will do it with a purpose.

 

Adult Training

Lets get into some basics of your training:

  • Skipping rope works your calves, forearms, triceps, abs, coordination and that elusive word, “rhythm.”
  • Fighting Stance: a perfection of balance that works your calves, quads, Triceps, Delts, Traps.
  • Basic Fundamentals of Shadow Boxing: fluidity moving across the floor and delivering accurate punches defining you in that moment of time. Tons of twisting working your core/trunk muscles, reflexes, and keeping you cognitive about the here-n-now.
  • Heavybags: Now, this is where it gets intense. Every questionable fundamental that impacts, will give a sound of resolution of, "damn, I did that?!” Muscles you either forgot about or had no idea existed will begin to form and tighten up. Your mid-section will be sore.

Youth Training

Turning Soccer Moms into Boxing Moms!

 

There is substance behind Prime Time Boxing's youth program. The goal is not to turn these kids into competitive boxers but to teach them life lessons through boxing. It takes discipline, determination, focus, drive, perseveranceand many other attributes to go through boxing training. All participants leave the program with a can-do attitude and a thirstfor challenges. These are great benefits but boxing offers even more; physical benefits.

 

Our kids are becoming more sedentary and are now at risk for adult health problems such as, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and heart disease. Boxing provides a cardiovascular workout like nothing else. With this workout we will help to knockout childhood obesity! Whether your child is 6 or 16, Prime Time can offer them a safe and structured program that is engaging and fun.

 

Ages 10-17
